"This was our second time here. We were a little disappointed this time. The pillows are absolutely horrible. Super flat and small. There was black mold in the shower. "The hotel was very clean and the staff members were friendly and responsive, especially the front desk and the bell desk. Our needs were always met and we enjoyed our stay. The Halepuna is directly across the street from it's sister hotel, the iconic and super-glam Halekulani, which elevates the area. Keep in mind though that the Halepuna is smaller, is not an oceanfront hotel, and has minimal ocean views. Wouldn't recommend it to first time tourists for this reason, but for other travelers it...
