Feels like a family run place but cooler. The facility itself is wonderful and then the staff is so helpful. Run very different that a normal hotel which makes it unique. For example, you text if you need something and no one is around. Such a beautiful property! Can’t wait to go back!

A Beautiful Property and a Great Stay I recently stayed at La Palmilla while attending a family wedding, and overall, it was a great experience. The property is impressive, with beautiful Spanish-style architecture, well-maintained grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere. La Palmilla provided the perfect backdrop for a very special celebration, while also offering a relaxing escape from the usual hotel experience. The only downside was the limited food options. Breakfast choices were pretty minimal, and there was no lunch service available. Given the location, having more dining options on the property would have made the stay even better. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my time there. La Palmilla is a great property, and I'd definitely consider staying again.

Guess I wasn't prepared for what I was to find while visiting. Perhaps it was because we had all just survived a long, hot Texas summer. However, the tranquility and beauty were healing to the soul. I kept thinking, "how did I not know of this place before". I'm not even sure I want to share it with friends as I never want it to change. Thank you to the family/team whom make this oasis so special. It truly is a site for sore eyes. Peace in the valley does exist.

This was the CLEANEST place I think I have ever stayed! The room was immaculate, the staff was amazing, and the landscaping should be in a magazine! We enjoyed delicious homemade breakfast burritos with the BEST salsa. I would recommend this slice of heaven to anyone and everyone! I can’t wait to go back!!

This property is a Texas Hill Country Gem! We had a short stay but it was pleasant, comfy and very beautiful. The breakfast/coffee was as good as a home cooked meal. Great communication before and during stay! La Palmilla staff was great.

Outstanding!

Such a relaxing, gorgeous, and unique venue. The level of service was outstanding. My husband and I began planning a return visit not long after we arrived! The gardens and stained glass were beautiful and the fridge stocked with drinks at the outdoor kitchen area were uncommon pleasant touches. THIS is the place to stay when visiting Glen Rose or Granbury area or for locals needing a staycation.

Little slice of paradise out in the Country..

Incredible place! Maintained beautifully, units were beyond clean, as well as the impeccably manicured grounds. Pool and hot tub were a nice touch (albeit a little on the smaller side). Stayed in their Casitas, the kitchens were well stocked with full kitchens. Units even had washer/dryers! Only thing I would suggest is they add protein to the breakfast offerings- pancakes were the only thing on the menu..

Photos don’t do it justice. Absolutely beautiful place. Everything was wonderful. Secluded feeling but quick access to Glen Rose. You don’t have to leave the property. Excellent food truck with the best pizza and breakfast tacos. Sparkling pool. Beautiful little Spanish mission church on the property. Gorgeous stained glass. Soft Spanish guitar playing throughout the property. A nice place to de-stress, have a girls’ or guys’ trip, romantic getaway, wedding, business strategic planning event, family reunion, or just a fun weekend. Worth the splurge.

We were heading home and decided we wanted to find a nice quiet place to spend the evening and came upon La Palmilla. It is tucked just outside the town of Glen Rose. Wow! It is so picturesque and serene. Just what we needed after 2 days of travel. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. And then there are the rooms! Truly, well designed a luxurious. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have had during any of our stays. This is a must stay if you are ever in the south Dallas area.
