"Amazing lodge with great views and access to shuttles that take you to the hiker shuttle stop (visitor center), grocery stores and eateries. The cabin like house with kitchen was great with a toddler. Would definitely recommend this place if you are planning your visit to RMNP"

"We got a balcony room in Wind River Lodge. It was the main floor if entering from the main entrance. Room was definitely dated, no AC, dirty in the corners. But functional. We didn't spend much time in the room besides sleeping, so it was fine. We were there mid-July with daily highs of about 90F. Box fan and windows open kept the room cool overnight. Curtains do not block any sunlight though so baby and kids were up with sunrise! No elevators so if you're not on a main floor or "basement", you'll have to climb stairs. For what it is, it was fine. I think next time we'll pay more for a newer, cleaner property with AC. The grounds were very pretty. Deer walking around, saw some babies. We also went horseback riding (have to pay extra). Did not use dining facilities or any other amenities on the site. Probably better value if you plan to do some of many activities available on site."

"We've come back to this lodge a couple of times and are never disappointed! The staff is incredible and the rooms are cozy/well kept. We booked the Ponderosa room and it felt basically like a little private studio. The hot tub was really nice after a long day out exploring Estes. Will be returning!"

"Easy check-in and check out. Very clean. Bed/pillows super comfortable. Loved being able to do own towels exchange as needed. Really enjoyed sitting down by the river. Wish the road wasn’t so close, but pretty minor complaint. Enjoyed our 5 day stay—a bull elk walked casually behind us along the walkway as we were sitting in the chairs by the river!"

"The room was very clean and the suite came with more then enough towels and other amenities for our stay and the trails and river were also great to walk through and enjoy. If I return to estees I will go back to stonebrook. The short drive into town makes traversing estees easy while still being away from the majority of traffic"
