I attend the UN Climate meetings in Bonn each year, and have stayed in Bonn and in small towns on both sides of the Rhein, to the south of the city. All places except one have been satisfactory, but this one stands out as special. The aesthetics are simple but pleasing. The hotel was in a great location with parking. The staff member was nice. The breakfast was lovely. It was easy to walk around the town with a store and restaurants close by. The rooms were nice and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfy and everything was very clean. Beautiful bathroom and a gorgeous terrace with a direct view on the Ahr. I highly recommend their restaurant. We had a great dinner with local food and wine. Also their breakfast buffet was delicious! Overall a very pleasant stay.

My husband and I had to be in Bonn for business and wanted to mix in some down time so I chose the Rheinhotel Dreesen as a happy medium - close enough to center city Bonn (20 minute drive) yet a pleasing location to relax without a high optempo. This is not the kind of hotel what would be used to from the United States. It is about a 15 Room Pl. in a regular apartment building. The rooms however, are super nice, clean and functionable. When the staff is on duty, they are very helpful. The area the place is located in is perfect.
