"Booked the connecting room for a family of four (2 adults, 10y & 7y). We stayed one night to break up travelling further south from England. Was exactly what we were hoping for, rural and quiet. Rooms were big, staff could not be more helpful and breakfast was lovely."

"After an initial mix up which was soon rectified we found our room in the hotel block, it was quiet, a good size and spotlessly clean but basic, no storage, no aircon and quite drab. Not quite a comfort plus room. The whole place is an unusual missmash of concrete buildings with the hotel block Incorporated into a seminar/educational course institute. We were woken at 6.30am by a loudhailer calling runners to a race start. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and resolved the mix...
