Sandman Signature Sherwood Park Hotel

"We are repeat guests, usually for our anniversary we come for a couple nights. We’ve stayed here many times over the last 5-6 years. It’s a beautiful property, very comfortable rooms and elegant style. Only things I would mention that could be improved is it seems in some rooms things are needing a few upgrades or maintenance. The shower door in our first room didn’t open, the hinges were sliding off. Also our first room was beside the elevator. We couldn’t sleep the first night with the wall vibrating and noise every time the elevators were in use. The hotel graciously moved us to another room, slightly below the level we had started with, but gave us a decent discount to make up for it. In future I will specify in my booking that we wish to be as far from the elevator as possible. Besides that we enjoy staying here. It’s close to everything, easy to walk for a meal across the road if you want. It would be nice if there was a complimentary breakfast…for $200/night some bacon and eggs and hashbrowns would go a long way. But as far as hotel options in Sherwood Park, this is our favourite."

"This is where I stay every time I am in Edmonton. Always consistently clean, with excellent staff. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom and the room are always clean. The only change this time was breakfast, still a very good breakfast but this time it only had sausages, normally it was sausages and bacon. Lots of fresh fruit, bananas, oranges, apples plus a melon mix. Oatmeal and dry cereals. Waffles and scrambled eggs. Muffins, bread and bagels. Location is near west Edmonton mall, highway 16 and the Anthony Henday. I don’t use the pool or gym so I can’t speak to that."

"Hotel was clean and staff super friendly. Room needed minor tlc (paint on baseboards) but generally well kept. Room was large, bed comfy. Only downside was noise - you hear every loud truck and muffler on the highway, doors in the hallway and noise from suite above at 4 am. Painful when you’re tired and want to sleep. Would have preferred to be at far end of hotel away from the highway."

"The staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly. They welcomed us with warm smiles and made sure we had everything we needed to check in, park, check out and even took the time to wish us safe travels when we were walking out of the lobby. Incredible customer service. The hotel room itself is very dated, with older, worn furniture... but the room was clean, the beds were very firm (but it wasn't uncomfortable), and the café breakfast buffet was average. Really, the location is fantastic for concerts at Rogers Place, but it was the people that work at the hotel that made our stay a positive experience. If you don't mind dated rooms - this is a great place to stay. "
