Within walking distance to main attractions, stores, restaurants, etc. although you are in a tourist town. The bed and room was comfortable with a nice ambiance. Although out of control of the hotel - you can hear musical performances at night so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper and go to bed before 11pm. Also regarding sleeping, the hotel's hallway lights are triggered by motion. So when a guest enters the hallway your room is filled with light through the transom - so bring an eye mask if sensitive to light while sleeping.
You will be well fed at breakfast - the staff cook was always friendly and smiling. Beautiful view on the breakfast terrace. The managers have an tourist business office next to the hotel - so often there is no one at the front desk, but they seem to be there for check-ins. I was told to locate them at the office if I needed something - not sure how it would have worked if something happened at 2am with the office closed - but no issues occurred and all was good. The managers were helpful and friendly.
