Very nice hotel with a gardened courtyard where the trees provide a shaded area to relax. The room was clean with lots of space and the beds were comfortable. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby

We really enjoyed our stay at Gerdis Evi. We thought the room was really comfortable and also spotless. We loved the terrace the room opened up to, which had a nice view over looking the town. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed the daily Turkish breakfast each morning. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to travel to Goreme. Only downside was no aircon as it was hot in August! But everything else was amazing!

Must like dogs. And cats. And rustic places.

The Hotel Gerdis Evi will hold a special place in our hearts. There is one cute small dog on property and some of the town dogs and cats visit him. While no AC or TV gave us a challenge, the cave style of the room blending with the rustic nature of Goreme made us feel truly immersed in what makes Cappadocia unique. The hot air balloons not only rose above and over the city, but some balloons floated within meters of our terrace. The location is perfect for nearby valley hikes. Breakfast was best enjoyed outside in the organic garden.

- Located in the town centre. - Shops / restaurants / mosques are at a walking distance. - Hotel staff is very helpful. - Large room - we booked one room for 4 adults. - No air con in the room. Perhaps it is not needed but unfortunately the days we stayed in the temperature was like 32degC. Fans were provided but wasn’t enough. - There is a small dog in the property. This could be good or bad depending upon how you see it. - Overall I will recommend this hotel.

Friendly and family-run

Friendly and basic family-run hotel with nice vibes, a quaint little breakfast, and quiet but still close to downtown (5min walk) or the sunrise/sunset points (15min walk). They can arrange outings / bookings upon arrival which helped a lot.

Gerdis Evi is a quaint hotel located in Goreme. The property is cute, quiet, family-run. I had a room on the 2nd floor, with a nice balcony and swing.. great place to relax any time of the day. There is parking right behind the hotel. Walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, bars in Goreme town (as well as ATM, Taxi stand..) Easy check in. Affordable, great for mid-range hotel accommodation.

Very convenient location and nice room terrace. Good breakfast. Only problem was there water heater was faulty but owner got it repair within short period. But toilet lights are not bright, one light fused but no immediate replacement. Molds near the shower doors. You can just pull your luggage and walk to the Goreme Bus Terminal to catch your bus to next destination.
