We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay you have in the area.
The old/new farm house is by far the best place we have stayed. It was amazing! The house was perfect inside and outside. Every little detail was well thought out and perfect. The bedrooms each had their own new bathrooms. The outdoor fire pit area was a big hit with our group, everything was new in the kitchen and the rest of the home. It was spotless and extremely comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful and well organized. When we come back to the Blacksburg area again, this is the only place we would want to stay.
We are so happy that we picked the farmhouse as our home base for our daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech this past May. Aunts and grandparents were extremely comfortable with their own rooms and en suites. Everyone had a place to relax between activities and didn't even have to leave the house for morning coffee. We had family meals each night and anything we needed was right there in the kitchen. We had a private chef cook for us one night and she was also impressed with the kitchen! The owner, Don, was extremely helpful with information, welcome package and even a graduation gift for my daughter. We loved our stay and were sad to leave. We will be back for a football game or just a peaceful getaway.
We can not say enough about this AMAZING, beautiful home! Don and Rhonda were so kind, welcoming, every detail of this home is well thought of! A detailed welcome email w/all directions, and information. The kitchen well stocked w/everything brand new. All bedding, pillows brand new- and 5 stars. Don and Rhonda even left a congratulations gift for our twin daughters.
This is like staying at a resort,(Ritz-Carlton) beds amazing, bathroom suites gorgeous! Everyone was so sad to leave this piece of paradise. All couples in the party agreed it was like having your own private suites. The drive is beautiful- neighbors wave, and the surrounding area was gorgeous. We would give this home 10 stars if possible! Do not hesitate to rent this beauty! Thank you for our stay Don & Rhonda! Created memories we will never forget.
