"Premium Delux Room Booked for 2 nights. Breakfast was Not included in this room, even as the booking Agency (Expedia) confirmation says it is. The hotel charged 3894 rupees ie $40 per night (on top per room) for breakfast, so factor that extra cost in. There was also no free welcome drink as advertised and as confirmed on the booking."

The LaLiT New Delhi

"I stayed at The LaLiT New Delhi for a work trip and would consider staying here again. I arrived shortly after midnight (3AM), and check-in began with an up-sell to upgrade to a more expensive room (at a cost), which I politely declined. The process was efficient, but I would have appreciated a brief overview of the hotel's amenities. There was no mention of the pool, spa, or art gallery, so I only discovered some of these facilities later in my stay. The room was comfortable but showed some signs of wear and tear. As this appears to be an older hotel, this wasn't unexpected and didn't significantly affect my stay. The bathroom was very spacious which was great! The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Room service could be improved. Ordering required multiple phone calls, and my meal arrived colder than expected. While some heat loss is normal with room service, this was more noticeable than usual. A highlight was the pool area, which I used on my final day after checkout. The hotel kindly allowed me to stay until 2 PM after my 12 PM checkout. The pool was well maintained, with plenty of loungers, umbrellas, drinks available, and clean changing/shower facilities. It was only when I went looking for the pool that I discovered the spa facilities and art gallery. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Despite a few service issues, the friendly staff and good facilities made for a pleasant experience."

"I was really impressed with this hotel – excellent value for the price. Yes, the building is older, but it's clearly very well maintained and managed. My room was clean and spacious. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious too. If you're traveling on a budget and want to be in this neighborhood, I highly recommend staying here."

"My stay at Maiden’s Hotel in Delhi was truly memorable. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and helpful right from the doorman to the front desk team especially Azajudeen, who made me feel warmly welcomed throughout my stay. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a deluxe room, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast spread was wonderful- a lovely mix of North Indian, South Indian, and fresh pastries. The housekeeping team and room coordinator were exceptional, constantly checking in to ensure everything was comfortable and perfect. What I loved most about the property was its peaceful blend of heritage and nature amidst the city. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with peafowl and peacock wandering around. I even caught him dancing. Around the swimming pool, the trees are alive with birds: parrots, Indian mynas, eagles, along with the familiar crows and pigeons, while squirrels dart around the pathways. It felt like a serene green escape tucked inside bustling Delhi. A truly charming heritage stay made even better by the kindness and care of the staff."
