"A very professionally run hotel, staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is clean and located centrally, close to rail station. However surprisingly no noise was heard during the night, I had a very peaceful sleep."

"Overall the hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. We was given tourist information by Deevesh who was very helpful, knowledgeble and pleasent. The spa was great, although there was a strong unpleasant smell as we got to the spa level. I had a facial which was great and relaxing. The food in all the restaurants were lovely. The only downside was we was left waiting for a long time after ordering our dinner. 2 dishes would come out and then we were waiting another 15-20minutes for the rest of the dishes to come out leaving the previous dishes cold, at which point we was hungry aswel as annoyed at the service. We experienced this in Chutney, Sakura for dinner and in Zinc for lunch. Also the times we visited the restaurants, they were near enough empty only 2-4 people at the time so service should have been faster. And breakfast was nice, good selection but again we asked for tea/coffee and was left waiting until we had finished eating before someone had come around. The other thing is other guests have no respect for the fact that people are sleeping, they are talking loud, heavy footed and slamming doors."

"Shangri-La Eros is a great city-centre hotel, ideally located for exploring Delhi and enjoying everything the city has to offer. It provides a comfortable and convenient base, with some excellent facilities. The absolute highlight of our stay was the wellness centre and gym. The gym is exceptional and has to be one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen, with impressive facilities that would satisfy even the most discerning fitness enthusiast. It is a real asset to the property and made a lasting impression. There were, however, a couple of areas that could be improved. The lifts could be frustrating, with waiting times detracting from the overall ease and convenience of moving around the hotel. More disappointing was our room allocation. We had specifically booked a Premier non-smoking room but were placed on a smoking floor. The smell of smoke was palpable, which was particularly frustrating given that we had deliberately chosen a non-smoking option. This detracted from the comfort of our stay and is something the hotel should address more carefully to ensure guests receive the room experience they have booked. Overall, Shangri-La Eros is a well-located city hotel with excellent potential and outstanding wellness facilities. The gym is a particular standout. However, better management of non-smoking room allocations and improved lift efficiency would make a meaningful difference to the guest experience."
