"Rooms were clean and all staff were lovely. The food onsite is decent but expensive. You now have to pay for parking £6 upon checking in. The family room however, we’ve outgrown. It’s a sofa bed and not ideal for two teenagers.the double beds also feel incredibly small. They need to expand some of the room sizes to accommodate more comfortable beds."

"A charming hotel with plenty of authentic old-world character. We stayed in Room 1 on the ground floor, which was very spacious, traditionally decorated, clean, and tidy. The giant TV will be a bonus for some guests. The bathroom was dated but clean and mould-free, although the door frame could do with a fresh coat of paint. The king-size bed was actually two beds pushed together, and the mattress felt quite worn and uneven. A fan was provided, but with the windows only opening slightly, I imagine the room could become very uncomfortable during a heatwave. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was included, but unfortunately it was the weakest part of the stay and lacked flavour. Overall, a pleasant one-night stay with lots of character,at perfect distance to shops and restaurants"

"We booked our stay at the Hythe Imperial hotel to celebrate our Golden Wedding, and we weren’t disappointed! Everything about our stay was perfect, from the kindness and courtesy of staff, to the surprise congratulations left in our room to see upon our return! We will definitely be returning. "Fabulous Hotel. Great location. Parking limited so park jn Sandgate Carpark as £12 for 24 hours. Harbour Arm is walkable and great to visit. Lots of eateries. Breakfast lovely - good choice and the Breakfast Room Manager is a real character & professional as are all the employees."
