About this property

A soul soothing escape. Artistically built and lovingly maintained.

  • Artistically built - a cozy cabin on top of Hampshire Hill. Sit, enjoy the views, listen to the birds, and gaze at the stars. 10 minutes from downtown Belgrade Lakes & public beaches on Long Pond & Great Pond. Close to Kennebec trails, snowmobile trails, Farmington & Augusta. 1 hr south of ski resorts. Great for stopping for 1 night or for taking a week to escape from the world. Snow tires and/or 4wd required in Winter months (October through April). We do plow and sand but more snow accumulates on top of the mountain. There is a .2 mile uphill that can be difficult in bad weather. Suggest that you arrive during daylight hours as it is very dark up there and can be difficult to navigate.
