Nothing is nice the hotel is used for prostitution and drug use. Do not use your credit card here use the atm in the lobby because they will overcharge and never send your deposit back
It's close to major bus routes. The bus stops right outside the front door. It's also accessible to the subway line which is quite a little walk but you can get to the subway bus. If you don't know you're way around the city, study the MTA map and download apps on your phone. The room was ok bathroom looked like it was freshly renovated. The staff was responsive with any issues. I'd stay there again. It had ample parking but I used the mass transit system. Cost effective.

Pretty gross. For emergency use only. Rough neighborhood. Lobby and hallways smelled like marijuana. Prostitutes.
Galaxy motel isn’t bad, comes off a lil sketchy bc of the area/ppl. But things were cleaned everyday, had no issues. Only thing keep in mind is u wake up in middle of night (2am-4am) a lot bc of the ppl loud banging on doors/walls, setting off fire alarms, & it’s on a very busy street so it’s not relaxing stay at all. Also the key card messes up almost daily so u can’t get in ur room.
Absolutely disgusting conditions. Floor of the room was covered in dirt, there was a hole punched in the wall, weird stains on the walls and sheets. Ending up sleeping in one of chairs only bc we had nowhere else to go. Used condoms in the halls and ppl arent kidding theres prostitues hanging around.

Clean but sketchy place.
It was fairly clean, and that's all I needed, but be advised, it's a sketchy place. There are weekly rates. I'm not sure if there's hourly rates, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are.
I was desperate to find a place to sleep, and the bed was comfortable and clean, and that's all I cared about.
I actually found parking on the street. They say they have limited free parking but I didn't inquire about it.
The room seemed clean at first glance. Upon further inspection, it’s like the cleaners swept everything under the bed and other places(fries, hair, etc). The hotel has a odor that doesn’t go away.. even after leaving I had the smell on my clothes.. it didn’t go away until I washed all my clothes and took 2 showers. The parking was good, they have a big parking lot in the back. But I would only stay here again if everything else in the area was booked and I had no other option. Honestly you can compare this place to staying the projects.. also the doors make noises so the whole time I’m thinking someone is trying to get in my room it’s just the vibrations from the building. I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m inclined to warn others to spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. That’s my honest review.
Hookers and drug addicts hanging out in the lobby.

Checking in was a hassle the toilet in my room did not flush had 2 ask front desk guy for tools 2 fix myself !!! Cause the maintenance guy had went home.Area full of prostitutes walking around !!!
This hotel was disgusting, very very filthy. Long check in wait bc the staff could not find my reservation even though I showed him a coy of my reservation.
The rooms were very filthy, floor sticky and a white powder was all over the door bobs and on the bathroom counter. The microwave and refrigerator was filthy with food. I had to sanitize the entire room. The receptionist told me they clean but that was a lie bc I took all the paper towel that I cleaned with. There was no floor towel and bath towels in the room.
I had to go to cleaners for toiletries and they were dingy and torn.
This location has prostitutes and pimps throughout and I’m in the parking lot. It is a very destitute neighborhood. Scary men half dress in the hotel and elevators which prevented me from using the elevator. I had to walk up four flights of stair to my room.
Pleaseeeee don’t stay here. Not even for a minute.

People in and out all night, having loud conversations in the hallway. The cleaning crew was whistling so loud that I could hear it behind a closed door from down the hall. The floor under the bed was noticeably dirty. However, this was the only hotel available in New York City that night, so at the price, it wasn’t bad. I hope I’m not in a similar circumstance in the future, but I would stay there again if found myself in the same predicament.
