Booked this for a few cheap nights in NYC. Wasn’t expecting much based on the price and area. But was very surprised. Room was excellent and pretty big for a cheap New York room. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Staff were great. Location was a couple of blocks from the closest subway. I felt safe all the time coming in and out at night. There are a number of other hotels adjacent. Would stay there again.

The room was great for the purpose intended, sleep and shower. It is a really small room and not in the center of the city. Right next to queensbridge and near a sub station so easy transport.

Upon arrival, I was informed the elevator was out of service. There was no TV remote control in the room, but the staff promptly took care of that. Water pressure in shower wasn’t up to par. Bed was comfy, and bedding clean. Staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient.

As of Christmas 2025: elevator was broken. My room was on 7th floor. No lights on one of the two stairs. No hair dryer and no phone in the room to ask for service. The staff took my driver license and don't give me back until the next day. One good thing was I could leave my bag in the lobby before checking in.

Utterly baffled by the one-star drama queens. Housekeeping every 3 nights or on request? Clearly stated at booking and check-in—guess literacy is optional these days. Spotless room, strong Wi-Fi, hot shower, comfy bed, everything functional. Staff friendly, neighborhood quiet and safe. This is a budget hotel in a residential area near transit—not a $500/night Soho spa with daily towel art and endless drawers. Whining about ‘no storage’ or it being ‘basic’? Darling, you booked the cheap rate; expectations don’t come with upgrades. Perfect value: clean, comfy, convenient, zero pretensions. I’d return in a flash. Ideal for adults who can read descriptions and manage realism.

Read a lot of bad reviews before I stayed here so I was kinda nervous. The staff were fine with me checking in late. Room was small but perfectly clean. Toilet worked fine despite what some reviews said. My only complaint is that I was not able to get in contact with the hotel on the day of my stay until 4:30. Honestly not bad for the price.

Elevator didn’t work. Had to walk up and down 5 flights. At check in the lady on the desk was very rude and not only to us other guests as well. There was a shower head in the bathroom but it didn’t work. We had to buy a stopper to get a bath in the tub. We had to buy cleaner to clean tub sink and toilet. One good thing the lady at the desk when we checked out was very accommodating. Was definitely not worth what we paid for. We should get some type of refund compensation. Worst experience ever.

Great location near subway. It took only 20 minutes to get to midtown Manhattan. Very quiet. Clean room, comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Street parking seemed a little unsafe so I purchased nearby gated parking which I found very satisfactory. It is in the middle of a colorful family neighborhood with food trucks and street musicians. Way cheaper than hotels in Manhattan! I would definitely stay here again.

Basic is the right word for this place In a marginal but authentic neighborhood. Not for people who aren’t used to the realities of urban life in a city destroyed by gentrification and global capitalism. Convenient to public transportation.

Good price, good location, get what you pay for

The location was convenient and the price good, but the area did not feel all that safe - lots of police activity around us. The check in experience not so great - the room we were sent to was not clean or empty, and it took them over 45mins to find a replacement which took place by door knocking. The external to the building was not locked and reception was not always staffed. Nowhere secure to leave luggage. Staff were co-operative, was just chaotic

This is a great no frills spot in LIC for an overnight. I had a room with two twin beds and it was good for me and my son. It’s a quick subway ride on the F train to midtown and Penn Station. On the downside, the shower took 10 min to warm up and there was zero water pressure, the walls are thin, housekeeping woke us up with vacuuming in the hall, no remote for the TV. The room would have benefited from a few more extras like an extra shelf or table, an extra trash can, and extra towels and TP. The lobby needs a few chairs to accommodate folks. It was fine; it just felt more like a hostel.

Little trouble getting checked in, but they made it up with offering some perks. Close to the Subway and only a few minutes to get to Manhattan. Easy to get to and parking was available at the affiliated hotel across the street for a reasonable price.
