We had such a great stay here! Great location for sight seeing/subway transportation. Staff was always so kind. When we checked in there was a mix up with our rooms, but they were so quick to go above and beyond to fix it. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I had in a while. The hotel itself is an older building, but I absolutely loved it! It served its purpose of a safe place to stay and see NYC! Thank you for the amazing service!

Good location for sightseeing , subway access, close to public transport from the airport and rail. Great complmentary breakfast But very old, poor room airconditioning and very late checkin and early checkout. Ok if you just need a bed for a nite.

Decent neighborhood and 3 min walk to subway, which includes the E line that makes it simple to get to jfk air rail. Breakfast was good and there is shops around. Rooms are old fashioned but clean and around the cheapest you may get in Manhattan

This is a unique place and will not be to everyone's taste. It seems like a Retreat Center, with simple but appropriate amenities and budget friendly. My room was cozy, clean, safe, and simple. If you are looking for updated and fancy, the Leo House is not for you. If you want, safe, comfortable, minimal, with kind workers, then this is the place. The neighborhood was great. Walking to the subway or Penn Station was close. Walking to the Highline or Little Islands or the Flatiron- all easy. It was a fantastic place for my first time visit to NY. I will be back.

There were absolutely no complaints regarding this property and my 4 night stay. The room was as expected in size for NYC accommodations. The bathroom was very clean. The location is excellent with nearby subway stations. Very safe neighborhood and walkable. The hotel offers free WiFi and a plentiful breakfast with multiple options. The staff were warm and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay at The Leo House again for any future travels to New York City!!
