We enjoyed our stay at The Maritime. The location - being right across the street from the Chelsea Market was a huge plus…and the area is top notch. The staff and the cleanliness were great. And, the continental breakfast was very nice to have. If I were to mark it down to 4 stars - it would be for the size of the rooms…but that is the same for 98% of New York hotels. We enjoyed our visit.

The Maritime is the perfect hotel for seeing the city, its clean, friendly staff and a decent continental breakfast, It is ideally situated for restaurants, coffee shops etc. The High Line and Little Island are close by. Unfortunately it doesnt have its own bar on site which was the only thing i would criticize. After being out all day it would have been nice to chill in a bar onsite rather than have to venture out again. We took advantage of the airport transfer service offered in the expedia app, this was Carmel Car and Limousine Service. Both drivers were on time, their cars were clean and the guy who took us back to JFK was a proper New Yorker and was great to chat to, I would recommend this service.
