The staff were very nice however the property is in need of MAJOR changes. The no longer provide free breakfast we were told it is because of Wyndham owes the property now. We were given a packet of dry instant oatmeal and a fruit cup. The beds and linens were clean but the carpet was very old and stained, it was dust in many parts of the room. When you walk into the buildings it smells like mildew in the lobby as well as the room we were in. The property is very very dated and old. The safe was rusted. The mount holding the ironing board to the wall was falling off. Also the website says there is a gym (closed in the winter however it is now Spring) we were told there was no gym.

First room smelled of smoke, staff promptly gave me a new room…had a musty odor but was tolerable. Price was right but room was noticeably old with some stains on the couch. Maid service was prompt each day and made the bed even after I told them I didn’t need anything that day.

Great Service, Old Rooms

Service was excellent, friendly and accommodating, trying their best in an uphill battle. But the rooms are falling apart. Half my lights didn't work, fixtures were falling off the shower, a toilet that I flushed kept going all night.

OK look, you get what you pay for. And this place is cheap. Pros: The neighborhood. If you're worried about safety, this is a good pick. Its in a sparsly populated part of town with no foot traffic but commercial services are close by. Cons: Poorly maintained. I had an electrical short in my bathroom, my office chair was so nastly I didnt even use it, and the carpet felt damp and sticky. Would I come back? I'd probably look around for better options, but if price was my top priority, yeah, I'd probably go back.

The room was WAY outdated. Paint pealing, Toilet seat was loose, Phone did not work, had to unplug the fridge to plug in the microwave, furniture looked like it came from good will. They left the pool uncovered which was green and disgusting. Whoever is in charge of maintenance should be fired today. Good: Staff was friendly, Our beds were clean and comfortable, Applebee's right next door, 5 miles from UDEL.

My stay was long and the housekeeping staff was terrible. The trash cans were small so I had extra bags of trash in my room. They would come empty the trash can but leave the other bags of trash. Leave clean towels but not clean sheets. Never vacuumed and you could CLEARLY see the floor needed to be vacuumed. The lady at the front desk was very nice ,polite and helpful.

Pick up car trip

Arrived at the motel at 1 AM due to delayed transportation check in was at a side window being a single person. I was a little uncomfortable that the lobby wasn’t open. No real breakfast as advertised the bed was comfortable. Checking out my Lyft ride was waiting. The lady was on the phone. I just turned in my keys and had to go. The rooms could use a update and new curtains

Close to main roads but did not hear traffic. Broken ice dispenser first floor. Broken juice dispenser at breakfast. Lumpy bed pillows need to be replaced. Tiny breakfast area with no tables and chairs. Close to a number of restaurants. Stained sofa. Room was a nice size, and included refrigerator and microwave, which is one reason we chose it. Desk chair needs to be replaced. More towels stocked in room would have been helpful.

The check in itself was very easy , the ladies at the front desk was very nice and respectful. The room was nice and clean for the most part. The bathroom could’ve used a little more TLC. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the TV worked and had good channels. There is a microwave in the room but I didn’t have use for it so idk if it worked or not. The refrigerator doesn’t not get as cold as it should. Other than that the room was perfect. The inconvenience I had was the steps being “out of order”. I had to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel to get to the steps when there is steps right outside my room that was “out of order”. Beautiful , peaceful stay and will stay again if ever need be.

Property in very shabby condition. EXIT sign dangling from cord. Concreat cracked on walkways, one elevate, outside, looked like an attempt was made to remove something from doors and interior. Most areas should be repainted. Room smaller than pictured.While taking shower tub filled with water. NO WIFI/TV, maintenance person was unavailable. Breakfast of coffee and juice. However, the little creamer curdled in the coffee. Night Mgr,Niki tried to help. However, day Mgr Nick, very curt and rude, and Asst. Nancy refused help, and said we were not entitled to a small refund, because we should have moved to another room. It was late and we were already in PJ. We did not turn on Tv when we checked in. Hurrying to event at Hagley Soda House. Tried TV and Wifi upon return. Did not work. However, Niki did note in the hotel log book the TV Wifi problem. Nick Finally, said if I come back he'll give me a small discount. I can not recommend this location.

There was knats in our room and the room smells,tub wasn’t all that clean, couldn’t use one of the dressers draws it was dirty and could not close, they need too change because there is no breakfast it’s just tea or coffee my husband and I been coming there 3 weeks in a row one week tv not working had to change room next no iron and no phone in the room and the last is what I text in the beginning but the staff was very good she was on everything I told her about and suppose to be going back down there in another week

The staff were very nice and they made sure to give guests fresh towels and toiletries every day. The room was decent but there were some details that were missed by the cleaning staff. The shower was good but I didn’t like the mat in the tub. Overall, it is an older motel but not a terrible place to stay for few nights. I was a solo traveler so I definitely appreciated the staff putting me on the top floor in the back for more quiet enjoyment.
