Last time I stayed there in November 2023, there were positive as normally and Staffs looks very nice to deaf customer. but just just extra clean to off insects and web in a room

The room was clean, but it smelled mildewed. There was mold in the bathroom and the room needed a fresh paint job. Staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel is on a busy highway, so road noise was a problem. Breakfast was good, some healthy options like yogurt and fruit.

Room & staff were great! Only lost one star because our refrigerator didn’t work at check-in but this was fixed during our stay and staff allowed me to use another refrigerator for our insulin until ours was fixed.

We stayed 3 nights. The breakfast was pretty good, and the workers were very friendly and helpful. Other guests weren't very quiet, and the cleaning could have been a little better, but i was happy.

The room was not clean. It smelled really bad of smoke. There was mold around the toilet base The sheets and blankets were stained with god only knows what.... basically the room did not look like the one advertised...i will not be going back there. The people who work they are friendly though.

A Place to Lay Your Head for the Night

Old rooms, dead bugs on bathroom floor. Just overall tired and run down. Staff is pleasant, and sheets were clean. A place to lay your head for the night.

Decided to Leave…

The hotel was so rundown and dirty—floors had visible dirt on carpets, stains all over bedspread, mold all over grout—that I left immediately after I checked in. Piped in air freshener smell was overwhelming, too. I had a dog, and it was pouring, so I didn’t even bother to check out or ask for a refund. I just got in the car and left. The front desk associate was very nice when I checked in, so no complaints there.

I got what I paid for, a place to sleep and shower. They lady that checked me in was delightful and all staff were friendly!! A lot of road noise, but it did not bother me. You could see that this hotel had upgrades, but still needs a few more. I would stay again.

If it wasn’t for the friendly front desk staff and competitive atmosphere (Spartan Race in Newberry), it would be a 1 star. Not clean, mediocre cleanliness was the expectation.. it didn’t meet that mark. Dirt, mold, sticky surfaces, burn holes in the sheets, gross pillow cases, all of the above. Although we signed up for our specific room due to availability, it was a smokers room and that was horrendous. Finally, one of the cleaners walked by our window 3 times and then peered into it! I opened the door and stared at him, gave a thumbs up, and they responded with very broken English asking if I wanted towels. I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign up, regardless of that, DO NOT peer into a window. If you knock and no one answers, simply leave. But there wasn’t even a knock…

Comfortable and great location

The room was reasonably priced . I was traveling alone and was surprised that there were no restaurants close by . The bed was very comfortable , the front desk was very accommodating and friendly . The shower needs updating .. the shower curtain was not clean and the tub could have used a bit more scrubbing . But overall , I was pleased .

I went to look at the first room I was assigned to and it was dirty, the sheets were tinted yellow and the mattress pad had holes in it. Went back to the office and the front desk clerk Bonnie gave me a new room to look at and it was clean, the sheets were better and the mattress pad was new. I check the mattress and sheets for bed bugs before I stay anywhere.

Rooms smelt terrible. The white linen had a yellow tint. Bathtub’s anti-slip pads were dirty (stained black with dirt and probably mold). There was mold around the edges of the tub. Had to leave my bags outside my house for a day because the hotel had roaches. The online photos look way better than the facility. The area around the hotel was busy with night walker aka crackheads. This was my first and last time ever staying at a Quality Inn. The staff was great! The lady at the front counter was super welcoming and helpful.
