"Lovely quiet setting. Relaxing and comfortable. Good shower. Decor a bit dated but it is a historic and unique property which is nice. Golf on the site. Hairdresser and spa treatments. Great theatre nearby. Walking trails including up to 15th century Castle ruins. "

"Stayed two nights for a long weekend, perched on the edge of Highclere Castle for our visit. Quite close to the A34, but even though our room was on that side we had no traffic noise. Nice little room upstairs in the cottage next door. Breakfast was included and that was excellent. Also had two evening meals, sample photos attached. Chef is very talented. Would happily return."
