Nice facility-friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very good. The spa was excellent. Centrally located and an abundance of self parking. The front desk was extremely helpful in finding us another room as the first one didn’t meet our requirements. It obviously is very popular/busy as a consequence it’s looking a little tired and worn. It could use some minor maintenance-eg paint, cleaning the grout in the showers, etc. We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff in the bar serving afternoon food and drinks were slow and not very knowledgeable, also the snack choices were very limited. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The swimming pool was very poor paint peeling, rust around units on the walls. The steam room and sauna not very inviting.

I'd read mixed reviews so was a bit apprehensive about booking but we've stayed in quite a few hotels and this is one of our favourites. The bed was very comfortable, staff were very welcoming and helpful. The spa was clean and we enjoyed using the facilities. Will definitely be back

Room was brilliant for our family with 3 kids. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond when we asked for a fridge to keep the babies food chilled. Pool is amazing and hotel was very quiet so we all slept brilliantly. Would recommend to all!

This is a beautiful 4-star hotel. From the moment we entered the door and walked up to the reception desk to the moment we checked out, we had friendly, impeccable service. The room was spacious and beautiful. The restaurant for breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great as a base for the local attractions . The facilities were basic, shower looked great with nice products to use but the flow of water was poor and kept going hot and cold . The restaurant was average with mass produced food . Buffet breakfast had many options from porridge to full fry up Plenty of free parking . Some staff need further training when asked basic questions like the verity of ice cream flavours on offer the response was I'm not sure so I promoted her to go and ask . On reelection Laura redeemed my opinion on the staff as she was friendly and took my concerns to management . If your looking for a peaceful sleep be warned the rooms door slam shut and no one holds them to close therefore lots of banging doors which was very annoying . Tea and coffee facilities in room were welcomed , fan snd hairdryer. Plan your spa in advance snd if you want pool use without children plan early morning or after 6.30pm
