This is the place to stay

Easy to find, clean, modern, and comfortable. Very warm welcome, very helpful, lovely size room and ensuite. Minutes from the seafront and many restaurants for your evening meal. Amazing breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Great guesthouse in Whitley Bay

I had the most wonderful stay at this GuestHouse and it fully exceeded my expectations. Staff (Paul) went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. Great breakfast, lovely location by the sea with short distance to the Metro and cozy room.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Metropolitan. We were warmly welcomed, the accommodation was fantastic and the breakfast was superb. The guest house is in a great location, convenient for the bars and restaurants, and close to the sea.

Superb little B and B, 2 minute walk to the beach. Very friendly, attention to detail, very clean and superb breakfast. Will definitely stay again if in the area again and will definitely recommend to friends
