We were very comfortable with 8 adults and 3 kids on the Spring St property. Thank you for the clear communication! We can a good time exploring the area and playing many games that were available at the house. One guest was a chef and he appreciated the well appointed kitchen.
Nice and close to finally canoe Boreas Pond and visit Santanoni. We packed all meals because no restaurants or groceries nearby. House was nice and clean and had everything we needed on the first floor Screened porch is fantastic. Yard is great for hanging out and walking the dogs. Area is very quiet. Would definitely come back!
What a wonderful, quiet base camp! Beautiful home with everything we needed. Very clean home, close to everything in town and easy to access our favorite outdoor activities. A real Gem!
Perfect location for paddling Henderson, Boreas and Essex Chain. Outfitter and community are helpful and very friendly. Comfortable house, quiet and private neighborhood. We bring all our food since restaurants and grocery stores are farther away.

Great for families!
The home itself is so pretty, the pictures don’t quite capture it and there have been updates since those pics were taken. Impeccably clean, well-stocked kitchen, spacious comfortable rooms. Screened in porch perfect for morning coffee. One bedroom downstairs with a double bed - which was needed for grandma who struggles with getting upstairs. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, not just a bunch of cast-offs for the vacation house. There are so many touches like scented oils in the rooms and the guest book and binder with all the visitor information you need. (For check in information all you need is the door code in advance.) A book shelf full of interesting books. Lovely back yard and fire pit. All the thoughtful details come together to give you the sense of being welcomed into the home of a friend. The surrounding area has lots to do. A ways behind the house there is a murky pond… lots of frogs for 11 year old boys to catch. (I wouldn’t want littles near it though.) There’s an ice cream shop/bakery in walking distance. Just 5 minutes away west on Rt 28 there’s an environmental interpretive center with trails to explore, the Santanoni historic site is even closer with more trails, and Newcomb Town beach just 5 minutes in the other direction with a swimming area including lifeguard, canoe launch, picnic area and playground. Just do some meal planning and there are no local grocery stores. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
