"Although enjoyed the stay it needs pointing out that the steps to the allocated room were steep (no joke with heavy luggage). Should the addition of a lift be considered? This means those with accessibility problems could find problems. That aside, the room was good and restaurant very good (used for both a dinner and breakfast). "This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep."

"Room was barely clean whilst half lights not working. Rails to stairs hadn’t been cleaned in ages and covered in grime. At busy times the bar staff were useless more intent on chatting than helping out else where. Food was ok but the breakfast was about the worst I’d had anywhere. On one good note the chap on night duty was really helpful."

"We always try and stay at the hotel because our family live close by."
