"Rooms need to be updated but overall bed was comfortable. dining for breakfast was just ok. Service was lacking and coffee was horrible. Coffee stained the cup it was so bad. We used the diner down the street the rest of the weekend. The hotel was a great location to beach and pier. I would stay again"

"Breakfast was a bit lackluster. There weren't many options—just cereal and eggs prepared only one way—and the pancakes weren't high quality (plus, they aren't made every day). In short, they really need to improve the variety of what they offer for breakfast. However, the breakfast staff—and the hotel staff in general—are wonderful."

"The hotel is very cozy and welcoming.however there are several additional charges that can make the stay feel unnecessarily expensive. Guests are charged $42 per vehicle per night for valet parking which is mandatory and even beach chairs and umbrella. It sometimes feels like there is an extra charge for almost everything. Unfortunately my experience with the restaurant manager was particularly disappointing. Her attitude was very unpleasant and her customer service was far from what i would expect from a hotel of this caliber. A more professional, courteous and welcoming approach would make a significant difference differenced in the overall guest experience.the hotel has a very comfortable atmosphere and some outstanding staff members especially the valet team. However the excessive additional fees and the poor customer service I experienced at the restaurant were significant drawbacks."
