"Ideal for a family. Lovely views across the valley and great as a base for walking. The site was also good for touring the southern lakes. The lodge was well laid out , warm and cozy. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and had plenty of storage. In better weather the decking area would also be well suited to small children. Would definitely book again."

"The accommodation we stayed in was excellently looked after the lodge was in a little village wich made it lovely and quiet . Most things were a short drive . It was a pleasure to stay and will be going back and recommending to friends and family "

"We were a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) staying at this beautiful log cabin for 3 nights. The location was fantastic…only a few minutes drive from Ambleside. The log cabin was spotlessly clean, and everything we could possibly need. The outdoor space is a bonus with some amazing views. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you 💕"

It was also great for us too & had everything we needed to enjoy our visit.
