"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."

Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) "My family had a fantastic stay at the house in Nottingham! The property was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished—everything felt welcoming and well-maintained. The location was ideal, with easy access to entertainment, food, and the city center. The host was wonderful. It was the perfect base for exploring Nottingham, and I truly appreciated the quiet comfort of the space after busy days out. "We were staying the night for a family wedding locally the next day. The room was OK but stayed in better Holiday Inn Express hotels. We always seems to have an issue trying to sort the air conditioning out which was too cold even though it was hot outside. As usual we always have to hunt for our glasses! to deal with the settings. We decided to eat a meal in the evening where breakfast is served. It’s not a very nice room & the menu didn’t offer much choice! It was just ok having just driven from Paignton! we were too tired to go out. When we checked in the lady on reception was very nice and helpful"

"We had a lovely weekend at this hotel and spa and overall really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were very good and provided everything we needed for a relaxing break. The staff were excellent throughout—friendly, attentive and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The location was also a highlight. The nearby village was lovely to explore, and there was a nice little walk close by, which was perfect for getting out and enjoying the surroundings. The only real disappointment was the food. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience and did let the weekend down a little. With a better dining experience, this would have been a fantastic stay from start to finish. Overall, though, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend and would happily consider returning."
