"I come to Nice annually; this was my first stay at the Boreal but I would definitely return if it maintains its reasonable pricing. It looked smart and cared for and the desk staff were polite and welcoming. My room was comfortable and a reasonable size for the price. The only downside was the noise on Saturday night with bars and restaurants on the street - but the other nights I was there (till Wednesday) were all no problem."

"The staff at this hotel were the friendliest, most polite, helpful and efficient that we have ever experienced. We were offered an upgraded room and discount on breakfast. Our luggage was stored until our room was available (we arrived in the morning) and the staff gave us many suggestions of things to do in the city while we waited. It’s obvious that this hotel is very well managed. The room was very spacious by European standards and hotel is nicely situated by most visited sites."

"We had a very comfortable room and nice clean bathroom with lovely shower. The hotel is ideally located. Easy walking distance to beach, Old Town, train station, tram and shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful."

"Excellent location close to old town and station. Beautiful roof terrace with great views. Comfortable room with tasty breakfast included. Reception staff helpful and polite. Swimming pool was not open in early May. Size of pool a disappointment. Bar staff seemed a little slow at times. One evening we ordered coffees on the terrace. The next evening no coffee was available as summer rules dictated no coffee was allowed!!!"

"Amazing small hotel 2 minutes away from the train station (Nice Ville) and close to Jean Médecin avenue (with a tram line). A small fridge and A/C; I only wish there was a kettle to make a tea/coffee."
