Misled in the listing, expecting a hotel this is n
Booked this place for 3 nights, it’s definitely not a hotel, it’s an air bnb. There aren’t comforts of a normal hotel or a check in counter. It was difficult to find the place and it wasn’t accessible by car, so you’ll have to carry your luggage pretty far. There’s also no elevator and all the rooms are on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There are only 4 rooms. I was expecting a hotel and it was expensive just like a hotel but was really a Airbnb and belongs on that website.
Free breakfast is just the bnb owner giving you some crossiants and you can only get it from 9-10AM so you waste a lot of the day waiting if you want it. The pool pic is not on the property and not in walking distance. It’s at the owners house and you need to drive to get to it. It was uncomfortable using it because the owner watches you. At the pool the towels aren’t hotel quality. It also says just take one towel, no hotel would say that. I feel disappointed in the stay and misled in the listing
My friend and I have traveled all over the world together and this was honestly one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed. The view was breath-taking and truly one of the most memorable of my life. Sandrine gave excellent instructions on how to park, where to eat, and what to do. The access to the private pool nearby was also deliciously luxurious and relaxing. The breakfast with these adorable local jams made from Violette and Rose were so tasty! The property is comfortable, clean and the bathtub in our room was positively divine. Also, Tourettes-sur-Loup beats St-Paul-De-Vence in my book, feeling less touristy but incredibly authentic. Go go go!
The view is the best you can get in Tourrettes-sur-Loup. It is amazing.
I made the reservation late the night before and we were out all day. So when we arrived it was hard to find. When I called she said I got all the information in a mail and there it was. I just haven´t had connection or time during the day. Hadn´t really understood that it wasn´t a hotel either.
The room is nice and not too small. Not many places to put your luggage and there is no door to the bathroom but the toilet is in a seperate little room. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. The wife was not the best.
The free parking is on a public parking area. We got the last one when I parked and it was off season so it might be a bit tricky to find a spot during high season. I thought when it said free parking that the place had a dedicted area. It is common that the information specify that it is in a public parking otherwise.
The pool is not by the house. It is a 10 min plus walk away. We didn´t try it.
The breakfast was nice but just between 9-10. It suited us fine, not sure if you can get one earlier if you need to depart before 9.
Overall a nice stay but a bit expensive. There is an amazing hotel just close at the same price and you get full hotel service there. I´m pleased that we tried this but will not choose it again over the hotel.
Histoires is a unique property and a delight to experience.
The individual hospitality and attention to detail and the guests' needs is much appreciated.
We stayed this time (our second stay here) and, most assuredly, we will return.
Why, you might ask ?
Well, the views are amazing. The village access Is superb and Tourette's is truly a medieval experience.
After, two days, you will start to inquire about real estate prices!
But, we digress..staying with Sandrine is just a wonderful reason to stay in Tourettes.
She is the quintessential hostess, who will cater to your every needs, including pain chocolat for petit dejeuner.
Merci, for our time spent at Histoires Bastide.

We were there late October and had a wonderful stay in this B&B! The location is so picturesque and overlooks the beautiful landscape and the walls of Tourettes-Our-Loup. Bed was comfy and the room and bathroom were perfect. Highly recommended when touring and desire a good location away from the city of Nice.
Très bel endroit
Prestations irréprochables, site magnifique petit déjeuner sur la terrasse surplombant la vallée un 1er janvier!!!
A recommander sans aucune hésitation!
Loved this location and B&B! What a tremendous setting, incredible hosts, and a beautiful village. The rooms look brand new and the pictures really don’t do this justice. Definitely add this to the top of your wanderlust list.
We had a very comfortable room with an amazing view of the valley and the old town. The breakfast was delicious and plenty. Very nice lady who owns the rooms.
This hotel was one of our favorites from our trip to France. The town is absolutely not to be missed. It is authentic and real. Children playing in the streets, etc...
The apartment was spectacular with large bathroom, incredible view of the valley all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast was delicious and we ate on the terrace overlooking the mountains to the sea. We are early risers and when to a delicious boulangere for our first coffee right around the corner. Restaurant. "Cave de Tourette's" was delicious!!!
Our host Sendrine was amazing. This place is perfection run by a perfectionist. The town is beautiful and not as busy but still plenty of places to eat. Make sure you spend time watching the sun go down on the terrace. We stayed both night until it got dark.
Nice little house with 4 guestrooms. Nice welcoming and the hostess and owner is very nice. THe view from the balcony is the crown jewel and breakfast and relaxing there is awesome. Nice little town with a few good restaurants. I would give it a 5 if it wasn´t for the fact that the swiming pool is 1 km away and cost money. Other than that great stay.
