This is a small, affordable hotel in a great area of Nice. It’s old and charming but tiny. Hot shower and clean enough accommodations. I felt safe and i was comfortable.
Hotel is good value for the price. Walkable to the Port and the old town and if not very close to tram to take you all over. Hotel is nicely decorated and staff are friendly. Bathroom is very very small.
Everything we expected for the price we paid. Very friendly staff and rooms were in good condition. Walking distance from the city center and ocean views
The stay was great. So clean and and just a perfect room. Service and staff was great. As after a long day we always came back to a clean room. Nothing bad to say !
The room was small but cute and cosy and it had all we needed. No air-conditioning, but we kept the window open and it was cool enough at nights. Very hot on day time.
The location was good, we were able to walk everywhere.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and I was given good advice on arrival by the owner on what to visit and what to avoid. The only downside is the lack of central heating but this could be easily remediate by having air water cooling units better than fans. Considering the one star only our stay was perfect as the hotel is at walking distance to everything and the tram station is nearby. The room was confortable and I would recommend it
Older Hotel in a good neighborhood. Last minute booking for a great price. Staff was nice , friendly and helpful. The le petit dejeuner (breakfast) was great, for 10€. Hotel Location, for us, was ideal; we continued up the coast (Monaco/Italy) our next days journey. If you want a shiny modern place, this isn’t for you. But if you don’t need new, want a great value, walking distance (15min) to the beach, where you are safe, with a mini frig, clean linens/towels & hot water. This place is highly recommended. Parking is limited, find a place on the streets nearby where it is free 9pm to 9am.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
A cute single room, perfect for my stay. However, being on the 4th floor with no lift and a suitcase was hard work! The hot water was intermittent and it cut out completely during my shower on two mornings. That being said, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I was able to store my luggage on my last day after check out.
Friendly and helpful staff was offset by an asthmatic barely functional aircon unit. I was only there one night but I wish I had known I was going to be on 4th floor (that’s 5th floor for the Americans reading this) as there is no lift, just a narrow set of steep stairs. I’m glad I only had hand luggage and a 10kg rucksack. All that said, after I checked out, they let me leave my gear whilst I spent a full day in Nice and were fine with me and others bringing lunch back and using the loo too.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The owners are great and they made our check-in a good experience. This is a small, likely family owned property.
There are no elevators and we stayed in the fourth floor. It was tough climbing with our carry-ons.
The in suite bathroom was very small, and there was no air conditioning.
This is a property that is good for a night stay, but not for a long stay. It might also be ok for younger people that would not be worried about climbing stairs with their luggage.
Not far from the hotel, as one walks towards the bus terminal ( Vaubon), one can see homeless people, but we never felt threatened by them.
Unbelievable to see a sick person at 2:00AM in the front kept me for 45 min to check me in. First, he was trying to charge me again because he could not find my name. When I insist to check refresh his screen, he found out I have a reservation. The place really crappy with noisy drainage. Bed is the worth… I checked out at 9:00AM and did not want to stay there.
Toilet bowl cover kept dropping in the toilet bowl with one screw attached and the Led was smaller than the toilet bowel. If the price is cheap that does not mean you will have a good rest.
