Luxury Apartment block

"La Bastide" was built in 1889 by Lord Salisbury, Prime Minister of the Queen Victoria. The Massa Family became the owners in 1947.
"La Bastide" is set in five hectares of parkland where olive, lemon end oranges trees grow together with green oaks and cypres trees between the city of Nice and Monaco.
The property has a spectacular panoramic view over the Mediteranean Sea, Beaulieu sur mer and the Cap Ferrat.
Every studio has a south exposed terace of 12m² with a wonderfull view on the sea, a main room of 30m² with one double bed and AC, a small equiped kitchen and a bathroom.
A couple of housekeepers live in the permises all around the year.
Parking facilities are avaible within the property.

Absolutely Amazing View

Absolutely LOVED the studio apartment with the most amazing view. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and quiet. It was wonderful to comeback every day from our day trips to this tranquil villa with spacious green spaces and sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Parking space on the property is included which is a bonus. We walked or took the train most days. It is a bit of a steep walk from town to the villa but doable.

Spectacular View, Quiet and Relaxing

The view of Beaulieu-sur-Mer is spectacular. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony daily. In the morning with our coffee and in the evening with our wine (there is a corkscrew). This property is just as described, and as the photos show. Simple and basic with everything we needed. One clarification for other Americans is that we would consider the bed a King size bed rather than a Double as listed. The room was very comfortable with the much needed air conditioning. Note: There was soap, toilet paper, salt, pepper, coffee, tea. Only commenting because someone else said that they didn’t have these items. Ms. Gallis who welcomed us does not speak English and we don’t speak French or Italian, but she was able to clearly communicate how everything worked. Ample parking was a plus in a town with limited parking. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Superb views with secure parking. Worth the walk up the hill although we found there was a bus 84 that takes you to the bottom gate on our last day.

Overall a fabulous experience. If you don’t have a car, it’s a 10 minute walk down to Beaulieu Sur Mer, the climb back up the hill is doable but quite a walk. The view and hospitality were wonderful and we hope to return! Merci beaucoup to Erika, Madame Gallis and Cedric for the English tutorial!

Der Empfang war herzlich. Ein unvergesslicher Ausblick aufs Meer mit den Superyachten! Der sehr schöne, große und gepflegte Park vor dem Haus ist allerdings für Gäste verschlossen. Man kann da nicht spazieren gehen. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber. Allerdings kam aus der Toilette ein unangenehmer, starker Geruch, der auch nach 13 Tagen Aufenthalt trotz Bemühungen des Hausmeisters nicht beseitigt werden konnte. Unzählige Ameisen in der Wanne und starker Staub hinter der Klo (s. Video!). Wir forderten eine neue Pfanne, bei der alten löste sich die Teflonbeschichtung. Keine Eierbecher, kein Pfannenwender, da wir unbedingt die regionalen Köstlichkeiten selbst bereiten wollten. Die Küche sollte unbedingt mal renoviert/erneuert werden. Dort gab es uralte Second-Hand-Küchenteile. Von der neuen, großen Matratze rutschte das Bettlaken ständig herunter. Das alles haben wir der sehr netten Dame Gallis am vorletzten Tag erzählt. Die wohnt dort und wollte es weiterleiten. Für ältere Leute ist der Aufstieg aus dem Ort zur Wohnung sicherlich beschwerlich nach dem Stadtspaziergang, wenn man das Auto oben lässt. Denn es gibt so gut wie keine freien Parkplätze da unten. Sehr lobenswert ist die Möglichkeit, mit dem Auto direkt zum tollen Supermarkt neben dem Bahnhof mit 2 Stunden freiem Parken zu kommen. Dort gibt es alles. Super frischen Fisch z.B. und Gemüse, Sekt, Käse......Wir würden eventuell wiederkommen, wenn die kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten beseitigt werden könnten.

Einfach nur perfekt!!!

Wir waren das zweite Mail in dieser Wohnung und die Lage und die Aussicht ist gigantisch!!! Besser geht es nicht! Die Wohnung ist sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden was nötig ist. Wichtig für uns: Man kann direkt vor dem Haus parken!!! Der Parkplatz ist nur für dieses Haus. Wir fahren sehr gern wieder einmal in diese Wohnung!

Het uitzicht is waanzinnig mooi. De studio is groter dan gedacht, hij is heel compleet ingericht met goede kwaliteit spullen. En de airco doet het fantastisch. Echt een luxe verblijf, heerlijk. Enige nadeel is de klim ernaartoe, je kunt niet snel even heen en weer naar de bakker of het strand.

Gorgeous setting!

We enjoyed our stay here, but it's a climb everyday to get back to the suite. I guess that's the price you pay for gorgeous views over the Mediterranean! The suite could have been better supplied I think - no coffee, paper towels, or bathroom supplies. Something we were used to having in our other stays. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Ceci était un plaisir immense d'avoir séjourné ici. C'est la ville de mon enfance. Plein de souvenirs et cet appartement étaient parfaits. Un cadre est une bonne organisation. Nous avons vraiment apprécié. Cette propriété est dans un vieux domaine qui a une situation parfaite. Vous ne pouvez pas faire mieux pour la vue. Superschöne Aussicht

Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist wirklich hervorragend. Zum Strand zu laufen ist ein bisschen weit, vorallem im Hochsommer bei über 30° Grad und aufwärts. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist gut. Die Räume sind gut klimatisiert und man kann gut schlafen.

Stunning Mediterranean Views

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing setting looking out over Beaulieu-sur-mer within walking distance of town center: climbing required! Comfortable amenities though limited kitchen supplies for cooking full meals. Wonderfully helpful gardienne. Easy local train connections to Nice, Cannes or Menton.
