Unfortunately the room we were in was out of power so the amazing staff booked us the same room in their sister property which was a five minute walk. The receptionist offered to walk us there herself which was sweet but we declined. We had a nice stay at Pam’s. Thank you again. We only stayed one night due to stopping there before grabbing a train to Milan and the rest of Italy vacation, etc. The hotel was close to the marina and the town of nice is really cute and quaint in some areas. The park was beautiful.

Trendy, lovely hotel. Staff were kind and attentive if you needed anything. Property has a really cool vibe and the room was small but very comfortable (medium mama). Location is near buses and also the rail. I walked to the waterfront which was about 20 mins walk as well as to Old Town. Also only an 30 minute bus ride to Eze and 20 mins on the rail to Villa franc Meur. Only con is there is no drawer space or much storage space and they also should consider including glasses, and possibly tea or coffee maker in the room.

Mama Shelter is always our first choice wherever we stay. This one was no exception! The staff simply the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone treated us like family! Great location, fun vibe, pool. Overall, we will come back next time we are in Nice! Thank you for taking such great care of us!!!!

Pros: The breakfast was amazing! The staff were EXCELLENT.. SO kind and helpful! 💛Rooms were incredibly clean. Cons: The rooms were hot (could barely feel any A/C, so it was hard to sleep) and the showers weren’t too warm. Also, the location wasn’t the best.. wish we had stayed closer to Old Town.

Just returned from a week’s stay in Mama Shelter Nice. Loved the hotel and pool area. The hotel decor is very kitschy, bright and bold. I loved it. Staff at reception were always friendly and happy to help with any questions. The pool was a good size. A decent amount of loungers for a city hotel. Most days the pool was quiet or empty. Might have been due to the time of year. Pool was great for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The rooftop bar and restaurant served great cocktails and food. The room was extremely clean with daily housekeeping and towel changes. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean and always had hot water. The room was small but didn’t bother us. The room had an empty mini fridge which was great for keeping our own stuff in. Small cons - there was no coffee machine in the room and you couldn’t adjust the aircon. It was set by the hotel. The area of the hotel felt safe. There was a supermarket across the street. Another two supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Train station was a five minute walk away. Great for day trips to Monaco and Cannes. Would recommend and stay again!

The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the hotel itself had a stylish and elegant atmosphere. The rooftop pool and café were absolutely fantastic and a real highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was the complete opposite. The service was incredibly rude and disappointing. The staff were arrogant, unfriendly, and largely absent. I would rate the breakfast service 1 out of 6. It was genuinely frustrating, especially since every other aspect of our stay was so enjoyable.

This hotel has a fun, consistent aesthetic. They leaned into the maximalism trend in a clean understandable way. The staff gives great dining recommendations and it’s walkable to most needs. The pool, bar and restaurant are lovely. *They should add some missing details to make it feel more upscale: a gym, robes, washcloths, conditioner and coffee/tea.

Love Mama Shelter, have stayed at several. The staff were lovely, room great but the pool area was often left messy and is small so needs to be kept on top of, unfortunately the pool was also out of order on one day of out stay. Location was great.

Room feeling a bit hot an unsure how to work AC system (maybe include a step by step guide or additional QR code on TV). No Tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Loved our stay

Love the stay at Mamas. This was my first time and will definitely come back again. The staff was polite, informative and helpful. The hotel itself was very fun and nice in design. It’s different in a very good way! The breakfast could vary a bit, but it’s fine if you don’t stay here too long.

Clean, bright and beautiful hotel. Nice and quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Good location within walking distance of tram, bus and train stops and also old town. I can't think of anything negative to say :)
