The property itself is amazing. It has everything you need, the A/C works amazingly, the shower is fantastic, and the location cannot be beat.
However, we did have some issues. The building is super close to restaurants which is great, but I think people smoke near the air conditioner unit for the building, and so the whole building often smells very strongly of smoke. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, but something I wish I knew before. The other issue we had is that the neighbours beside the apartment are very loud at very early hours (one night they came home yelling in the hall and throwing things at 12:30 and then played music till around 2am, another night it was 3-4am). To give you an idea of how loud it was, I had wax earplugs in, played white noise on YouTube and could hear every word of the song being played. There was not one night we had a full nights sleep, which is disappointing when you’re on a trip and trying to get the most of your experience. We reached out to the owners (Nestor&Jeeves) multiple times throughout the week. I had taken videos and said I would be happy to provide them. I didn’t hear from them until our very last day. I had asked if we could move to one of their other properties or get a refund for only our last day because we had a flight super early. They responded that they couldn’t help us because it’s an external issue. I probably wouldn’t stay again, but other than those two issues everything else was fantastic.
