Great little hotel with 8 small flats. On the second floor of a larger building. One block from the promenade/beach area. Really enjoyed our stay! Only things we did not enjoy was the noise from folks on the floor above us, and from other guests in the hotel very late into the evening a couple of nights. Neither of these issues were the fault of the hotel. Would recommend for a great, less expensive option when staying in Nice!

The location here was good and very walkable, just one block from Promenade Anglais. Reception is only available during certain hours, but when we needed to communicate they were accommodating. A door code is provided to access the front door but realized near the end of the stay that front door actually did not lock at all- could be a safety concern despite there being another locked door to access the suites on the 2nd floor. The room was not cleaned every day, but the room itself was very clean. The bathroom was very small, sink area was tiny.

The hotel was fine, reception only there from 10am-4pm so not too helpful. They did not clean our room one day, and the other day only cleaned it at 4pm. When they cleaned they did not do the dishes and basically just switched towels and made the bed. Simple hotel but well located.

Reasonable priced, clean and centrally located!

Check in was easy it was already done for us. Everything was very clean. They are in a quiet area about 4 blocks from the heart of everything and 1 block off the beach. They give you umbrellas, mats and beach towels for the beach and they are super helpful.

Bildet av hotellet er av nabobygningen, så den virkelige inngangen er ikke like innbydende, men mer møkkete, slitent og med ødelagt skilt. Renholdet generelt er dårlig, men seng og håndklær er rene.Gangen er rotete og full av sekker med skittentøy. Resepsjonen er ubemannet stort sett hele tiden. Ellers super beliggenhet, hyggelig personale når de er der, og rask respons på skriftlige henvendelser hvis det er noe. Strandhåndklær og parasoll til låns er et pluss.

Disappointing Experience – Serious Mold Issues

Our room had significant mold on the bathroom ceiling and a strong musty odor throughout our stay. We also spoke with the guests in the room next to ours, and they were dealing with the same issue. When we brought it up with the manager, he didn’t seem surprised and took no action. It felt like this was a known issue that had been ignored. The manager was also largely absent. Although the reception is supposed to be staffed during the day, we rarely saw anyone there. Only once during our stay did we catch a glimpse of the manager leaving the property. There was no working Wi-Fi in our room. After reporting it, we were given access to a second network that performed even worse. We had to stand in the narrow hallway outside reception just to get a basic connection — uncomfortable and impractical. Another surprise was the lack of a real bathroom door — it was just a curtain, which offered no privacy. We spoke with other couples staying there, and they echoed the same concerns: mold, no working Wi-Fi, and the strange lack of a bathroom door. Clearly, this wasn’t an isolated issue. Overall, the condition of the rooms and lack of basic amenities made for a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this property.

Clean hotel, convenient location

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lido. The location was convenient, close to activities, fairly quiet, and it was easy to check in to the room and access the space. Housekeeping was solid and we enjoyed having a coffee machine, microwave, cups, bowls and cutlery. Some improvements that would make our stay even better: replace the curtain separating the bathroom and bed area with a door, and make sure all the power outlets work. Our kitchen burners were also not able to be turned on, so we used the microwave instead.

Bra läge, väldigt nära strandpromenaden. Rummet var väldigt kompakt, inga krokar att hänga kläder på. Städningen var ok, men inte felfri. Det saknades dörr till toaletten, fanns bara ett draperi. På det stora hela var vistelsen ok, priset var relativt lågt, trevliga hotellvärdar. Men det är läget som väger upp för de brister som fanns. Framförallt avsaknaden av toalettdörr drog ner intrycket rejält. Sammanfattat: Ett ok boende för en relativt billig peng. Men vi kommer sannolikt inte att bo här nästa gång vi besöker Nice.
