Romantic, quiet 2 room flat, private terrace, free Wi-Fi, near beaches and tram

Villa Olga, surrounded by a silent garden, is located on a quiet street few steps from shops, supermarkets and public transport. The neighborhood is residential and safe, just 7-8 minutes walk to the beaches.
The new Tramway Line 2 stop Alsace-Lorraine, located just 200 mt from the house, takes you to the city center in 1 stop or to the International Nice Airport in 25 minutes.
A large marble staircase leads to the property located on the mezzanine floor (only one flights of 12 steps to walk up).
The apartment, cosy and furnished with care, preserves precious elements of 1910, construction year of the villa. Exposed stone walls, wrought iron railings, original tile floors give the house a delightful retro charm that lives with the comfort of modern houses.
The spacious living room overlooks a lovely, quiet and shaded terrace, furnished with table, chairs and 2 comfortable easy chairs. The terrace is decorated with plants that provide privacy, ideal for relaxation and to enjoy your meals "al fresco".
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with microwave oven, dishwasher with detergent, induction hotplates, fridge with freezer. In the living room: dining table for 4, two comfortable armchairs and a sofa. Fast WiFi and Smart TV 30" are available, as well as a library which offers novels, illustrated books and tourist guide books.
The romantic and silent bedroom has a French double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a capable wall cupboard.
The bathroom offers liquid soap, shower, bidet, washing machine with detergent, hair dryer.
Villa Olga is located in strategic position to visit Côte d'Azur and Provence: frequent buses and trains - at walking distance -connect in a few minutes to Montecarlo, Menton, Cannes, Antibes, Vence, Grasse and many other daily trip destinations. You definitely do not need a car.
NB as mentioned in the House Rules, upon arrival a cash payment of €60 is required for the final cleaning. In case of arrival after 9pm, a supplement of €30 will be applied.

Excellent welcome by Maria. She greeted us at the bus stop and helped with checking-in. The web site gave us a wrong instructions of taking the bus from the train station. Maria gave us the correct bus to take to the apartment. She was excellent in attention to all the details, even though we had to use the Translation App on our phones to communicate, since she does not speak English. The apartment was very nice and we loved the terrace that comes with the apartment. Nice neigborhood and close to everything, but far enough from the tourists. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. We didn't mind that there is no air condition in the apartment, since the temperatures were very nice and comfortable throughout our stay. We definitely recommend highly for people visiting Nice, if they want a more private and a feel-like-home rental.

A lovely older Bell Epoche Villa, gated and secure. Simple furniture, great Terrasse. Lovely bedroom very good mattress. The only downside was an Italian family below the flat, they were very loud and stayed up way past midnight, kids and adults talking very loud, was hard to get to sleep. Also there is no elevator luckily my flat only had a few steps to get to and Maria was very helpful helping me with the suitcases. Both owner and Maria responded always right away

Villa Rosa is an impressive building providing numerous appts.The Gambetta is an impressive area with shops and a nice park.Travel is easy with various options.Easy walk into Old Nice area via several niceRoads.Tram stop nearby.The appt is very comfortable and sleep quality good.Bathroon and kitchen area excellant .We had an enjoyable week wandering around the area which is stunning.Communication with Owner Ornella and main contact Maria was great.Mainly very quiet although you are aware of other residents but not obtrusive in any way.Lovely stay and would recommend.

Perfect location

So close to everything. The promenade is a 7 minute walk away and the train station is a 10 minute walk away. Located right next to a tram station as well, making it super easy to get to and from the airport.

Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Sehr netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin vor der Anreise. Wir durften schon ab 09:00 Uhr in die Wohnung. Die Lage ist perfekt, absolut ruhig, wunderschönes Haus. Die Wohnung ist persönlich eingerichtet und hat eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre.

Lovely clean quiet apartment, both owner and Maria were very responsive and supportive.

Although the weather was not the best for our stay we had a great time. The apartment is very manageable even tho I have limited movement. I would highly recommend this apartment and will hopefully return soon .

Vous connaissez déjà les gros problèmes que lon a eu avec cette location A la suite d'une fuite deau sur une applique et au sol La propriétaire nous a fait sortir et nous nous sommes retrouvé sans hébergement Personne ne nous a aidé Nous avons cherché un logement tout le dimanche et nous avons trouvé le soir une chambre d'hôtel par chance mais tout cela n'était pas prevu Beaucoup de stress et de dépenses non prévues

Excellent séjour à Nice

L'appartement d'Ornella est trés bien situé, propre, calme et sécuritaire, confortable, bon lit, bien équipé, plusieurs produits à disposition, à 5 minutes de la Promenade des Anglais. L'accueil de Maria est chaleureux et cordial. Elle nous donne beaucoup d'informations et est très disponible et facile à joindre. Nous avons été très satisfaits de cette location. Merci Ornella et Maria.

1 Woche in Nizza...welch ein Traum

1. das Wetter....anders als angekündigt...sehr gut ohne Regen 2. Standort der Villa....sehr gut zu erreichen mit Tram und zu Fuss 3. die Villa...echt ein Traum...leider gibt es im Moment Renovierungsarbeiten am Dach...sehr gestört hat es nicht, nur auf der Terrasse sitzen war nicht so gut unsere Wohnung...klein aber doch schön mit den alten Fliesen z.b, mir gefällt das als kleine Anmerkung für die Besitzerin, vielleicht mal eine neue Kaffemaschine anschaffen, die alte macht nur noch lauwarmen Kaffee auch die Duschwände könnten erneuert werden, es koster ziemlich Mühe sie zu schliessen

Lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Olga. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but within easy reach of the old town and the promenade. Ornella, the host, was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

Die Wohnung ist ruhig und liegt in einer sehr schönen, zentralen Umgebung. Alles ist sehr gut fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Very enjoyable stay

Villa Olga was all we expected from information given. We had an enjoyable nine day stay. Positive for us was proximity of tram stop for airport, nice area and good walking distance to the Promenade. Only difficulty was trying to use the oven/microwave, (we didn't try) and the lack of English speaking channels on the t.v. Otherwise we had a great time.

A true gem!!

Wonderful location, easy to access the tram, the train, the promenade, and the park. The neighborhood is full of shops, cafes, and beautiful buildings. We enjoyed the beautiful patio. We will be back in the future.

Séjour très agréable

Appartement bien aménagé, bien situé et très calme. Commerçants très proches de la villa Olga. La mer aussi ! La station de tramway Alsace-Lorraine L2 est à 2 pas. Le réseau de bus très accessible. Bref un très agréable séjour. Un grand merci à Maria qui a été notre interlocutrice sur place en début et fin de séjour !

Charming apartment in a grand old town house

We used this apartment as a base for going into Nice twice a day. From Villa Olga it’s a 5-minute walk to the tram stop by Alsace Lorraine park, but more often we walked in, using one of three routes: via boulevard Victor Hugo (classy), via rue de France -> rue Masséna (bustling) or straight down to the prom’. We’ve now visited (we think) all the museums and galleries, and our favourite evening entertainment is outside the Café Flore in Cours Saleya (live music from about 8 to 10), followed by a session in Le Shapko (opens mid evening, live music after 10:30 till 2:30). A good week!

Great location in an apartment with character

We enjoyed being so close to the sea and the tram line. There were quite a few eateries nearby. You have easy access to major sites, whether by public transit or by foot. It was great to open the windows and balcony door to get a lot of fresh air

A lovely week in Nice

a lovely little flat, the pictures don't do it justice. It's in great spot for the tram which means you can get around Nice quickly and easily but also not too far to walk to most places. the host was very helpful with an earlier check in and Maria who met us was very helpful. would love to stay here again.

Pretty villa

This is an excellent self catering property. Such good use of space, excellently equipped, ambience / decor is just perfect. Really appreciated the great communication with the host (especially appreciated having had a horrible time with the host of our original booking) A perfect location for us super close to a great boulangerie and various supermarkets. Super close to the tram which was a super easy and convenient way to travel as well as being a short walk to the sea, a longer but very pleasant walk to the old town.

Un joli appartement bien situé et bien équipé

Nous avons passé en couple une excellente semaine dans ce joli appartement. Il avait tout le confort. Bruna s’est montrée très agréable et a même proposé de modifier un de ses rendez-vous afin de nous arranger le dernier jour. C’était super gentil. Nous recommandons chaudement.
