"I felt the food and drinks were average drinks were a bit watered down but the service was great from the waiters to the staff to the housekeeping, only one front desk person had an attitude but I’d say overall our experience was good. I would only say the food was average because some days not all the yuca was fresh some dishes looked reheated but breakfast 9/10 and lunch I can’t say because we didn’t have lunch there, the dinner was ok was a little disappointing we couldn’t get reservations to the steak house it was always packed, but other than that everything was ok, I think the only place we enjoyed most was the night events they do there with the staff and the Tamarindo bar that their drinks were strong, pool drinks weren’t all that great as expected. The beach is nice too and being able to see the white face monkeys there was awesome."

"It’s best to go off peak. We had a wonderful stay in early September. The staff was excellent. We booked one excursion through the hotel which was amazing! We did another excursion with Gerald. He is great! All in all we had a great vacation in Costa Rica!"
