I gave this 5 stars because I have no doubt this was the best property in the area. The views are incredible and you are looking at the ocean while you are in the jungle. The free breakfast was a highlight for our family as we all spent time together eating both local and (US) standards. The dinners were equally delicious. The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

The roads getting to the property — and the Nosara area — were incredibly bumpy and rough. Once we arrived it was totally worth it. We only had two nights at Rio Perdido but they were amazing. From the moment we walked in and were welcomed with the most delicious passion fruit welcome drink till the moment we checked out with the friendly folk at reception, we felt warmly received and graciously cared for. The hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The ease for making arrangements - transportation to other area attractions as well as other locations in Costa Rica - plus COVID testing on site, and thoughtful room design made this a pleasant place to stay. The grounds at the hotel are amazing. The tropical gardens that surround the guest rooms, paths, and pool make for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spaced well apart and have a lot if privacy from the covered verandas. The views are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring and taking advantage of the many activities in the area.

AMAZING! This hotel is beautiful... I felt like I was in the Garden of Eden. I loved everything about it. The food, the pool, the pristine rooms with an incredible bathroom and shower. If you are looking for a place to relax and forget the world, this is it.

We stayed and Studio Hotel for the second time after the first experience was very pleasurable. The rooms are great, the staff extremely friendly, and the location is hard to beat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a beautiful hotel overlooking the jungle and the ocean. Very close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Our only complaint is the hot tub was only like warm.
