Closest Station: Hibarigaoka Sation on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. From there, walk to Hibarigaoka Station North Bus Stop and take the Hibari73 bus (headed for Shiki Station) and get off at Heirinji bus stop, about a 15min ride.
Heirin-ji is a temple famous spot for fall foliage. The premises of the temple has a large wooded area, which has been designated as a national treasure. It really is beautiful all seasons throughout the year, but especially gorgeous as the various momiji (Japanese maple) leaves turn bright red and yellow. Room size was Ok,but thd main issue was yhe bath Tub which is so high that if you knee issues then very difficult to go in andbout.The hotel staff provided thd stool,but still an issud as thd bathroom is so small.

Rooms are dated, cramped, and our bathroom constantly smelled of pee. Carpet and bathroom had a lot of stains. The lobby and staff are great, but the room was disappointing. We will not return.
