This was a lovely place to stay while we visited the Kisakata beach. The host was incredibly helpful and picked us up when we went to the wrong train station. The host had sent a message with our initial reservation that the Google Maps directions were wrong but I missed that information. So for future visitors: DO NOT follow the Google Maps directions. They will take you to a field in the middle of nowhere. In English you need to search for the exact address and select the ‘budget hotel in Nikaho’ address option. Or take the train to the Kisakata station and go from there. This was a comfortable place to stay and we had the breakfast each morning which was delicious. Highly recommend for a budget friendly, youth hostel- like experience with a very friendly and helpful host.

部屋も綺麗にされています。 洗濯も乾燥機もあり、とても助かりました。 気さくな店主とお話も実に面白い。 秋田の旅行を計画している人は一度ホームページを見て検討するのもありだと思います。

駅までの送迎の他、象潟の道の駅も案内いただき、とても親切なオーナーでした。 すぐそばの居酒屋「笑福」でも、同宿だった外国の方、地元の方、ご主人と楽しい時間を過ごせました。 象潟は初めて行きましたが、鳥海山の麓、海も近く、夕陽もきれいでとてもよいところです。道の駅も、足湯や温泉もあり、オススメです。
