Kaloxenia Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"Owners and staff very friendly and helpful . Excellent value for money .Recent upgrade to the room and showers . Bed very comfortable and linen very clean . Location near to the centre . Don’t expect luxury but more than adequate . Defiantly would return again . They offer and pick up and drop off service for the port and airport"

Cabana Blu Lifestyle Boutique Hotel & Suites

8/10 Good

"The all inclusive stops at 11pm, water is not provided in the room daily, mini bar is chargeable, no drawers in the room. Buffet food was at best tepid but generally cold. Speciality restaurants charged for drink. AI stopped at 11am on day of departure irrespective of when you arrive. To stay for lunch was €10 each, €20 if you stayed for dinner. A 5 star hotel is supposed to elevate your stay, not take the edge off your holiday. Big plus was the general staff were brilliant."

TERRATORRE

10/10 Excellent

"Stunning property. The renovation of the old mill is expertly done. The rooms are stunning and very thoughtfully put together. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Stunning views across Kefalos bay. Recommend you have a car or scooter. The hotel can help. They will help with taxis to the local town to a connected restaurant called Mylotopi which is an excellent place. Tony who managed the hotel is so helpful. A super hardworking guy who’s always available to help. Nothing too much trouble. He really helped us settle in and relax."

Atlantica Mikri Poli Kos

8/10 Good

"Hotel was in an excellent location. Great amenities for children lots of activities to do which is amazing. We took our baby for her first holiday, definitely didn’t disappoint. However, there are some cons.. I think the housekeeping wasn’t great, clean towels but we notice when they made our beds it was just reused bedding no new bedding. We had to ask for fresh ones after couple of days which isn’t great. Room wasn’t very hygienic as ants and mosquitoes kept coming into our room eventhough we’ve done everything to make sure it’s clean and door closed. Could also have a better range of snack/food at the bar whilst lunch restaurant wasn’t open. Overall, lovely hotel would definitely go again and recommend for families. Just certain things like rooms could be cleaned better."

Porto Bello Royal - All inclusive

8/10 Good

"Disappointed to be honest. First gripe is that although the actual resort is lovely, pools maintained well and lots of them, beach is good, it is directly under the flight path and there are a LOT of flights coming in and out all day long. Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss and one of our rooms didn’t have the drinks stocked once during our 10 day stay which was annoying. Booking restaurants was a bit frustrating because you always had to go to reception, could only book 2 days ahead and the reception always took a loooong time. The food was dreadful though which is the main disappointment, didn’t have a single good meal. Selection wasn’t great and seemed like everything had been heated up from the freezer section, we ate out many times. Also frustrating when the website advertises access to the waterpark at the affiliate hotel next door but upon arrival we were told that we had to pay an entry fee and our wristbands didn’t even make us eligible for drinks on-site. Not a big deal perhaps but very misleading. It was a pleasant stay but I wouldn’t go back."
