Counter staff service is excellent, the young man (sorry we did not ask his name) who checked us in was very helpful, personally helped my wife to move our luggages to our room while I parked the car in a coin-operated car park nearby for the first night. We parked the car in the hotel car park for the second night. The room allocated to us was roomy, that has a step up to the couch area, that you need to be careful (that was pointed out to us). There was not much storage space for clothes in the room for a long stay, but for short stay like ours, it’s not much of a problem. "

"Gorgeous and spacious room. Very inviting onsen area, even in the pouring rain. Nice touch that outfits are provided to walk to the onsen, and it was a long distance from my room. Expensive but delicious meal at the French restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful but they need more than one coffee machine; there was always a line of people waiting. The hotel has beautiful grounds and landscaping, with great views of the lake, which I saw only through windows, sadly, as it never stopped raining during my whole visit. :-("

Hotels.com did not provide the necessary information for me to enter the hotel. But don’t worry, contact the hotel directly and you will get a Japanese support representative that speaks English. You can trust that the Japanese representative will diligently work to resolve your issue. They will issue you an email with room number and password. However, they will give you an estimate time of 1-2 hours. Just speak slow and they will understand you."
