"It it a great hostel in the middle of town close to the station. Free tea and coffee was appreciated. The facilities were excellent too."

"Clean and affordable. Kids loved the lofted bed and having a small private bathroom. The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, but a very quick 3 min walk to Oishi Park and the lake. The parking lot was actually at the Oishi Park and we liked seeing the park before and after the crowds. It felt easy to park with the lot attendants."

"Very warm, only a few bathrooms for many people, noisy from other residents and outside. Room was clean but small and had very hard beds. "

"Lovely guest house , the hosts are amazing can help with lots of information and to arrange tours, the rooms and shared facilities are very clean , they offer free to use bikes which makes visiting the local area very easy , the view of mount Fuji from the room and balcony is amazing ,overall a great stay would recommend, "

"今回、山梨での研修会の際に利用させて頂きました。よく研修会の行われる山梨リハや富士温泉病院から自転車で5分ほどと近く、大変利用しやすかったです。自転車の貸し出しもあったので、研修会への移動や買い出しにも便利に利用できました。施設は、民宿風で鉄道の模型や写真などがあり、そこまで鉄道ファンでも無い私ですが、素敵な空間でした(^^)。とてもアットホームな環境であり、和風の部屋に温泉にも入る事ができたので大変満足しました。また、スタッフさんも親切な方で、リラックスして宿泊できました。家族で利用したり、研修会での利用、個人の利用などでもおすすめです(^^)！"

"If we could rate higher than excellent we would. The host is the nicest person ever. The beds were so comfortable, and they had the best western style pillows. A small selection of free breakfast items were offered which was fantastic. Location was so close to Fujisan station, and it was really clean."

"Chose this hotel ostensibly for views of Mount Fuji and the onsen facilities. While Fuji was hiding behind clouds for two days (nothing anyone can do about the weather!) we were able to see the mountain on the morning we left. We had a room on the (Japanese) 3rd floor, but Fuji was still fully visible. The hotel made a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and set in a quiet location. The room was spacious (twice, if not three times the size of the room we had in Asakusa in Tokyo!). The hotel is a little far from the train station to walk, but the hotel shuttle service helps get you to and from the station at specific times of the day. Pick not before 3pm. You can ask the tourist info office staff at the train station to call your hotel when you arrive. Info office open 9am to 5pm. The hotel is very much in the style of Japanese resort hotel, once you are there you can unwind and slow down with a nice onsen experience. The shop in the lobby sells lots of lovely omiyage/local products. Double rooms are on floors 2 to 5, floors 6 and above are for more than two people occupancy. The Japanese breakfast was excellent, as was the kaiseki dinner. Excellent value compared to what you would pay for the equivalent experience in the UK. The hotel staff were super helpful and polite, definitely model examples of Japanese customer service. They cater well for non-Japanese speakers, if you speak English or Mandarin Chinese, not sure about other languages."
