Wonderful place with great value

We loved the lodge - beautiful setting, wonderful staff and good food. They upgraded us to a cabin upon arrival as cabin was available. The gorillas were amazing and starting point just up the road. The lodge is great value for the money in the Ugandan tourism world. You would pay much more to have the same quality accommodations and food in other places. If you have time to get here, this place not to be missed.

Fantastic stay!!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! We liked it so much that even though we had booked another hotel we decided to stay here. It was on the pricey side but so worth it! I wouldn't think twice about coming back. Jude the manager was excellent very friendly as well as all the entire staff. The food was great, and the room was clean, big and comfortable. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. I hope we can come back one day and don't think twice about going there you will not regret it.

This is the place to stay for Gorilla Trekking!!!

What an amazing place to stay while going Gorilla Trekking in Uganda. Would come back any time to enjoy such a best class service from their whole staff; JOB WELL DONE!!!

The host of this lodge was very kind. We have Gorilla trekking itinerary, and it can be expected to spend 4 to 10 hours, concerning we might unable to go back to lodge have lunch, so we requested to the host of the lodge for help us prepare a lunch box, and let us carry it before start to trekking at 6 a.m.. They do make it for us! The lunch box are several sandwiches, boiling egg, juice, dessert and banana, it’s let us to eat lunch more convenient for during a trekking in the wild.

Proper African style hotel

Truly loved our experience at Nguringo Gorrilla Lodge. The staff are so nice and the food is cooked with a lot of love. This hotel has basic amenities but it is to be expected if you are right in a national park sorrounded by forest and jungle. Truly a little gem. Its very close to the gorrilla trekking path we took as well. Highly recommended
