"Outstanding, smaller hotel in a wonderful (albeit touristic) area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, kind, patient and helpful. The area has literally dozens, maybe more, decent restaurants (many Tunisien places) and great museums and attractions within easy walking distance. Marseille is certainly wrongly maligned as a place to avoid - that is really old news, if it ever was true. The hotel restaurant is a great place to have breakfast, and I recommend spending a little extra to book a room with a balcony and table. It's a lovely way to start the day with a coffee and watch the neighborhood wake-up. A five-star experience at very reasonable prices. Allez l'OM! (if you know, you know!)"
