"Charming, North African style hotel near Marseille Centre. Friendly staff and comfortable room. The side street it was on was a little dodgy but there were great restaurants nearby and it’s a short walk to the Vieux Port and to many nice boutiques and cafes. I didn’t feel unsafe walking around at night because I was with my husband and tall son."

Area very lively in the evenings, which visitors may or may not appreciate. Immediately local restaurants too focussed on passing tourist trade so best avoided. "
