"Pas d'ascenseur, donc en cas de valises lourdes, prévoir du souffle et de la force. Il manquait 1 jeu de serviettes dans la chambre, que j'ai dû aller réclamer à l'accueil, à plus de minuit on s'en passe.
Le rideau de douche est fixé trop haut et gêne en bas de la baignoire, pas agréable et très gênant.
Les oreillers n'étaient pas confortables, trop mous.
La climatisation était réglée trop forte, nous l'avons totalement coupée car bruyante.

"Our week spent at La p'tite bergerie was superb. The host was so welcoming and helpful, yet discreet. The property itself was excellent - perfect location, tastefully decorated, well-equipped and very clean. It was also ideally situated for exploring the many sights of interest in the Perigord Noir and its surrounding areas. We would certainly recommend La p'tite bergerie."

Domaine du Château de Monrecour – Hôtel et Restaurant

Stay more than 1 night!
"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark.
2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large!
3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot!
4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth the $.
5. We were there in March, so still early spring, but the pool area and grounds looked very inviting for warmer weather.
6. Excellent treatment at reception for both arrival and departure.
7. Room/beds/AWESOME shower!
We would love to return!"

"Amazing great Chateau with lovely spacious rooms - off season it was a skeleton staff but they were friendly and attentive. The food was top notch - worth the trip for that alone. Golfists would enjoy it too."
