Our long weekend, which was supposed to be a quiet, stress‑free getaway to regroup and recharge, turned into nothing but stress and disappointment. - Room mix‑up:We didn’t receive the room we booked. This was due to Expedia’s description not matching the hotel’s actual setup. While not entirely the hotel’s fault, it’s misleading and needs to be corrected to prevent others from going through the same frustration. - Staff professionalism: The only saving grace was Mark, who genuinely tried to make things right. If you stay here, you’d better hope Mark is working—because when he’s not, professionalism and customer service seem to disappear. Without him, we felt misled and even lied to. - Housekeeping issues: Housekeeping refused to let us move into a functional room simply because it would take them ten minutes to refresh it. That decision left us stuck in an unacceptable situation. - Hygiene concerns: The most disturbing part was the shower. The body wash dispenser was broken, with the pull lever missing. It appeared that guests had been opening the top and dipping product out by hand. This is unhygienic and unacceptable. - Noise problems:If you do stay here, request either an upstairs unit or a ground‑floor room with no one above you. We endured a loud party overhead—stomping, singing, and blaring TV. With our own TV not working, it was impossible to drown out the noise. Overall: What should have been a relaxing weekend was instead frustrating and disappointing.

I Great place for R&R. Just a laid back feel. Very niche community. A real Hidden gem. Rooms look great, updated with lots of amenities for my taste. The atmosphere is great very nice Landscaping beach on one side marina on the other. Very good restaurants everything’s close by you can walk everywhere. Mark, the property manager is the best he will make you feel like you were staying at his own home. He will give you all the information you need and take care of everything necessary for your stay here. He definitely makes staying here that much better. First time impression great. Will be coming back as soon as possible . I came here with my wife for her birthday and our anniversary. She is very satisfying and happy so I am too. 🤗

There was more than 1 hair across the pillows which given the attention to folding and tucking I would think someone would have seen. We loved the beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas and shell shovels. Kitchen had all the basics. Would not have been enough seating in the living room for 4 but for us it was enough for 2. Liked the over sized bathroom. The walking bath to the beach was great. Suggest putting a light and room number signs on the fence to point you in the right direction- we arrived it was pitch black and drove past the turn.

We have been coming to this property for decades. I remember when the new owners had a video of what they planned for it to look like after the remodel, and I didn't really think it would happen. Well, it took a few years, but they accomplished their goal. It exceeds my expectations. It is absolutely beautiful. They captured tropical, modern and comfy all together. To add to all of that, the service is now exemplary. As soon as we arrived, the manager had wagons with chairs and umbrellas delivered to our door. Everyone is just so friendly and kind. This beach is our favorite in Florida -- we have tried different places all over the state, and we live less than an hour away from Cocoa and Melbourne. But, this is where we always return. We have also stayed at most of the places on the island, and now Escape is where we always return. It is not directly on the beach, but the rooms are spacious, and the pool is fantastic. There are no other places with that combination. And the beach is literally a one-minute walk away. They do have water view rooms on the intercoastal.
