Ryokans in Nomi District

The staff was impeccable, the room was lovely and peaceful, the food was phenomenal. I felt like a queen here. Gardens and onsen are top notch. Service was perfect. I cannot wait to return!!

It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The property is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. The dinner is excellent. The dishes included lots of local seafood, beef and produces.

The one night stay at this Japanese onsen hotel was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is only 20 minutes by bullet train from Kanazawa train station. Hotel provided free shuttle pick up from the Kaga Onsen train station.

What a great experience. I only wish we could stay longer. A real Japanese experience. The staff is amazingly helpful. And it’s close to the train station.

Hanamurasaki is beautiful in almost every way. The rooms are huge and gorgeous, everything is spotlessly clean, and the location relative to the river and the rest of town is perfect. Our room had a private outdoor mineral bath. Yes, it’s very expensive, but we definitely feel like it was a worthy experience. We had omakase dinners five of our first 10 nights in Japan and our only complaint about Hanamurasaki would be that the omakase dinners were a little too hard-core Japanese for us. Most of...

I love the Tanbo no Yu! I can tell that its being fixed up more everytime I come here! This time, really enjoyed the pure stream bath it was very warm and a comfortable place to chat with my husband. The food was delicious and healthy with many flavors and unlimited hokuriku rice! I definitely be back again!

Kind and welcoming staff showed us to our rooms and helped with shoes and umbrellas while it was raining, and provided hot tea in the room every day. Rooms are large and beautiful and perfectly maintained. The location is a fairly short walk to kanazawa’s gardens and castle, but the nearby restaurants are few. (We did not try the Ryokan’s breakfast or dinner because of special dietary restrictions.)

Great onsen. Nice breakfast. Our room had natural pond in our back patio. Make sure you have Go taxi app as uber doesnot work for this location.

I really enjoyed my stay at this countryside onsen hotel. They offer a shuttle pickup from the nearby Shinkansen station, but since I had a rental car, I drove myself. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The property conveniently features an EV/Tesla charger, though the rooms still use traditional physical keys instead of keycards - which I actually preferred! Overall, it was a great stay. Out of my 10-day trip across Japan, this place remains one of my favorite memories.

This is a beautiful Ryokan! Best experience in Japan. The water in the Onsen is composed of minerals that help the skin. There is also a massage chair foot massage device. Highly recommended! The Ryokan gives you the feeling of being back in Old Japan with a 5 star service.
