"There is a reason privacy of resort has that name, it is in a quiet part of the quiet side of Koh Chang. If you want to stay somewhere lively, with nearby bars restaurants and tattoo parlours, stay on the west side. Privacy is family-run, six very pleasant bungalows around a lovely swimming pool, all set in a beautifully garden. You will need some sort of transport to get around, motor bikes are available here at 250baht per day. There is a very lovely place to eat which grows coffee a short distance away, five minutes on the motorbike or 15 minutes walking. There is also another place to eat which claims to be organic, which is busier - for no good reason. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to koh chang."

"We were kindly upgraded to a seaview cabin so that was nice. The resort could use a bit more up-keep in places but overall it's lovely. One thing to note which I didn't realise when booking: the resort is marketed as a smoking report where you can smoke anywhere/everywhere. Unfortunately that even includes the (outdoor) eating (breakfast) area (and the pool area). And some guests don't care that others (ie non-smokers) are eating or trying to enjoy the nice view. "This is a great choice if you want peace and quiet. It does what it says on the packet. Great restaurant with a good choices. Lovely selection of juices and smoothies. Staff are very sincere and caring.."

"Room spotless and the hotel is right on the beach. Larger hotel than expected and not enough sunbeds. Waiter on the beach attached to the hotel seems to invent deckchair prices!!!"

"Firstly readers should note that the Resort has recently had a change of ownership, so past comments should be read with caution. The resort (like the whole island) was very quiet but Value For Money. However it should be Noted that there is limited Car Parking and the road to it is narrow with sharp bends. But is situated in an ideal area near shops, Bars, massage parlours and Restaurants (Buffalo Bills is Highly Recommended). Two negatives (which I’m sure in time will be rectified) are the Rooms are serviced every other day, but Bottled water and Coffee are delivered daily, meaning soiled toilet paper, food waste etc remain in the bin for two days. Also there are no advertised operating times for the Restaurant and Bar, meaning that when we returned at 21:00 for a nightcap the Bar had closed because it was quiet. I cannot blame them for closing, but there was no advanced warning this may happen. All said and done it was a very pleasant stay and would happily return as we were treated very well."
