It is a lovingly renovated spacious stone cottage full of character and interest set into the side of a hill with breathtaking views of the valley and mountains surrounding it. "We had a lovely stay, it was so peaceful at the accommodation but within driving distance of so many amazing towns. We did an amazing drive to Orvietto through the countryside and passed an amazing lake. We also enjoyed Marmore waterfalls and Lake Piediluco, a stunning village with boats and even a beach with deckchairs. Communication with the hosts was all on what’s app which made life very easy."

The path up from the village is along traditional old narrow Italian walkways (not suitable for anyone with walking or breathing problems).The appartment has everything you could need."

"Ilva’s home was fabulous. The views were amazing. Ilva was an absolute delight and we constantly cursed our lack of Italian as we would have been able to communicate so much better. Ilva was a fabulous hostess and checked in to make sure we were okay. The house was charming and lovingly decorated. On leaving we had issues with car, Ilva drove into Sarnano to meet us and called a mechanic. Truth be known we were sorry to leave."

The apartment is beautifully appointed and Valentina has done a wonderful job of stocking it with the necessities for a comfortable stay. "What a lovely house. The outdoor eating area is perfect for a large group, especially because it stays in the shade all day long. The bedrooms are comfortable (fans were v useful in the heat!) and the bathrooms are lovely.
